Jab­ber­wocky began as an annu­al anthol­o­gy of poet­ry and prose, edit­ed by Sean Wal­lace and pub­lished by Prime Books. The first Jab­ber­wocky appeared in 2005. Its small size and styl­ish cov­ers made it an imme­di­ate favorite of col­lec­tors. In 2007 Erze­bet Yel­low­Boy came on board as co-edi­tor, and in 2011 the final print edi­tion was released. In Novem­ber of 2011, Sean Wal­lace stepped down as co-edi­tor of Jab­ber­wocky in order to focus his atten­tion on Prime Books. From Novem­ber 2011 through Decem­ber 2012, Jab­ber­wocky was edit­ed by Erze­bet Yel­low­Boy and pub­lished by Papave­ria Press.

We pub­lished our last issue in Decem­ber, 2012.

The ele­ments and bedrock of Jab­ber­wocky can be large­ly described as the 'ical approach: lyri­cal, whim­si­cal, myth­i­cal, in all its forms, par­tic­u­lar­ly short fic­tion, poet­ry, and illus­tra­tive. There are no bound­aries, no restric­tions, no gen­res. If you love the art of the writ­ten word, its struc­ture, its flow, its lan­guage, we sus­pect you'll love Jab­ber­wocky.
