About Jabberwocky

Jabberwocky began as an annual anthology of poetry and prose, edited by Sean Wallace and published by Prime Books. The first Jabberwocky appeared in 2005. Its small size and stylish covers made it an immediate favorite of collectors. In 2007 Erzebet YellowBoy came on board as co-editor, and in 2011 the final print edition was released. In November of 2011, Sean Wallace stepped down as co-editor of Jabberwocky in order to focus his attention on Prime Books. From November 2011 through December 2012, Jabberwocky was edited by Erzebet YellowBoy and published by Papaveria Press.

We published our last issue in December, 2012.

The elements and bedrock of Jabberwocky can be largely described as the 'ical approach: lyrical, whimsical, mythical, in all its forms, particularly short fiction, poetry, and illustrative. There are no boundaries, no restrictions, no genres. If you love the art of the written word, its structure, its flow, its language, we suspect you'll love Jabberwocky.

And since all of our issues are still online, why not stop, traveller, and read.
